Per-Pixel Lighting - Framework

For high-quality results, especially in the presence of low geometric tesselation, it is necessary to use per-pixel lighting techniques. There are a number of possibilities here:
• Phong Shading
• Tangent-Space
  • Normal Mapping
  • Parallax Mapping with Offset Limiting
  • Relief Mapping
These two fundamental approaches can be implemented via a framework and allow for the 'host' techniques to be hot-swappable.
